This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The Petitioner is an accused in connection with G.R. Case No.178 of 2022 arising out of Salepur P.S. Case No. 74 of 2022 on the file of learned JMFC, Slipur, registered for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 294/323/354/354-B/506 of the I.P.C. 4.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Salipur by order dated 29.04.2022 in BLAPL No.49 of 2022, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the nature of allegation and filing of Charge-sheet as evident from the order of rejection, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned court in seisin over the matter.

Additionally it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional Police Station twice every week for a period of one year. Certification of such appearance shall be submitted to the jurisdictional Magistrate. It is further directed that while releasing on bail one of the sureties shall be the immediate family member of the petitioner. It is needless to say that violation of condition relating to appearance shall entail cancellation of bail without further reference to this Court.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
