Heard Mr.L.Sahu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.K.Nanda, learned Addl. Government Advocate. 2.

According to Mr.Sahu, though the petitioner has got compensation amount relating to his house, however, he has not got compensation amount for acquisition of the land on which the said house stands. He further submits that though highlighting all his grievances the petitioner has filed a representation dated 5.4.2022 before the Special Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation and Resettlement Officer, Lower Suktel Irrigation Project, Balangir (opposite party No.4), however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.4 to take a decision on the said representation within a specific time period. 3.

Considering such submissions and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court

// 2 // directs the Special Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation and Resettlement Officer, Lower Suktel Irrigation Project, Balangir (opposite party No.4) to take a decision on the above noted representation under Annexure-3 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 5.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
