This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner apprehending his arrest in Nalco Township P.S. Case No.224 of 2021 registered for alleged commission of offences punishable under Sections 419, 420 and 120-B of the I.P.C., has filed this petition for his release on pre-arrest bail.

Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.

It appears that the Petitioner had earlier approached this Court in ABLAPL No.15172 of 2021 and in the facts and circumstances of the case, when this Court was not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the Petitioner, learned counsel for the Petitioner had withdrawn the same, which reveals from the order dated 13th December, 2021.

Considering the facts and submissions made, especially the nature and gravity of accusation, character of incriminating materials appearing against the Petitioner, circumstances in which he has been indicted, seriousness of the offences alleged, this Court is not inclined to release the Petitioner on pre-arrest bail, moreso when his custodial interrogation may be required for collection of further evidence in this case. 6.

Accordingly, the prayer for pre-arrest bail of the Petitioner stands rejected and the ABLAPL stands disposed of being dismissed.
