Heard Mr.A.Das, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.H.M.Dhal, learned Addl. Government Advocate. 2.
Mr.Das, learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to deposit the deficit court fee of Rs.18/- along with a memo in course of the day.

According to Mr.Das the petitioners are aggrieved by inaction of the authorities in extending them the benefits under the Odisha Rehabilitation and Resettlement Policy, 2006 though they are entitled to such benefits on account of construction of Lower Indra Irrigation Project, Khariar. 4.
Mr.Dhal, learned Addl. Government Advocate submits that for redressal of their grievances the petitioners should have approached the Director (R&R)-cum-Additional Secretary to Government, Department of Water Resources, Odisha, Bhubaneswar(opposite party No.2) instead of rushing to this Court.

In such background Mr.Das, learned counsel for the petitioners submits liberty may be granted to the
// 2 // petitioners to file individual representation before the Director (R&R)-cum-Additional Secretary to Government, Department of Water Resources, Odisha, Bhubaneswar (opposite party No.2) and further prays that a direction may be issued to the said opposite party to take a decision on their representations within a specific time period. 6.
Considering such submissions and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioners to file individual representation before opposite party No.2 along with a copy of this order by registered post within a period of two weeks hence. In the event, such representations are received by the opposite party No.2, he/she is directed to dispose of the said representations in accordance with law within a period of three months there from and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioners.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 8.
Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
