1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode. Order No.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.
3. The Petitioner is in custody since 12th April, 2021 in connection with Marine P.S. Case No.121/2019 corresponding to S.T. Case No.103/2021 (G.R. Case No.1820/2019) pending in the court of learned Ad hoc Addl. District and Sessions Judge (FTSC), Kendrapara for the alleged commission of the offence under Sections 342/450/376-D of I.P.C.

4. As it appears, trial has commenced in the case with all the witnesses except the I.O. being examined. The victim has already been examined in the case.
5. Having regard to the statement of the victim as also the other materials on record, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is, therefore, rejected.
6. The Court below is, however, directed to make efforts to conclude the trial within a period of six weeks from the date of reopening of the court after the ensuing Summer Vacation. If the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, it shall be open to the Petitioner to renew his prayer for bail. (Sashikanta Mishra) AKB Judge
