Heard Mr. S.K. Acharya, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel.

According to Mr. Acharya, the petitioners are aggrieved by the recording of incorrect name of his son in the birth certificate dated 27.08.2019 issued by the Registrar, Births & Deaths, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation under Annexure-1 3.
During course of hearing, Mr. Acharya submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to move the Registrar, Birth & Deaths, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (opposite party No.3) in the matter by filing an application for redressal of their grievances and the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion within a specific time period. 4.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioners to file an appropriate application before opposite party No.3 within a period of two
// 2 // weeks from today. In the event, such an application is filed along with a copy of this order, the opposite party No.3 is directed to take a decision and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioners.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 6.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application in course of the day.
