This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioners in this writ petition seek for a direction to the Opposite Parties to comply with the direction dated 7th January, 2022 passed by the Odisha Human Rights Commission in Case No. 3814 of 2017 and pay compensation for the death of Benudhar Dakua, father of the Petitioners.

Mr. Nayak, learned counsel submits that the Petitioners have already made a representation to the Executive Engineer, Electrical, TPCODL, Nayagarh under Annexure-2 for compliance of direction of Odisha Human Rights Commission dated 7th January, 2022 passed in Case No.3814 of 2017, but the same has not yet been considered. He, therefore, submits that interest of justice will be best served, if a direction is made to the Executive Engineer, Electrical, TPCODL, Nayagarh-Opposite Party No.2 to dispose of the representation of the Petitioner dated 28th February, 2022 under Annexure-2.

Taking into consideration the innocuous nature of prayer made by the Petitioners, this Court without expressing any

// 2 // opinion on the merits of the case disposes of this writ petition with a direction to the Executive Engineer, Electrical, TPCODL, Nayagarh-Opposite Party No.2 to dispose of the representation of Petitioners dated 28th February, 2022 under Annexure-2 in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result thereof to the Petitioners within that period, if the same is still pending for consideration.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
