This writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner seeking a direction to the Opposite Party No.4-The Divisional Forest Officer, Baliguda Forest Division, Baliguda to grant T.T. Permit in her favour within a stipulated period taking into note of the law laid down in the case of T.N. Godavarman Thirumulkpad -Vrs.- Union of India and Others, reported in AIR 1997 SC 1228.

It is stated by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has filed an application for T.T. Permit before the Opposite Party No.4-The Divisional Forest Officer, Baliguda Forest Division, Baliguda since long, but the same has not yet been disposed of, even the statutory period prescribed for grant of T.T. Permit is over.

Considering the facts and submissions made, this Court dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Opposite Party No.4-The Divisional Forest Officer, Baliguda Forest Division, Baliguda to take a decision on the application for T.T. Permit filed by the Petitioner, if the same is pending, in the manner known to law not later than two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
