This matter is taken up today in the National Lok Adalat through hybrid mode.

Learned counsel for the appellant-Insurance Company is present. The memo in support of the compromise between Appellant and Respondent No.1-applicant is kept in the record. 3.

The Commissioner for Employee's Compensation-cumJoint Labour Commissioner, Cuttack had directed the appellant to pay an amount of Rs.11,94,722/- (Rupees eleven lakhs ninty four thousand seven hundred twenty two only) to the respondent no.1-applicant within 30 days from the date of the order of the

// 2 // tribunal, vide judgment dated 01.02.2022 passed in E.C. Case No. 126-D/2019.

It is now agreed that a modified consolidated amount of Rs.5,90,000/- (Rupees five lakhs and ninety thousands) only shall be paid by the insurance company to the -respondent no.1claimant Prabhakar Sahoo within a period of eight weeks. 4.

It is therefore directed that the appellant-insurance company shall deposit the aforesaid consolidated amount of Rs.5,90,000/- (Rupees five lakhs and ninety thousands) only within a period of eight weeks from today before the Commissioner. The aforesaid consolidated amount shall be disbursed to the claimant by the Commissioner. 5.

The MACA is accordingly disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
