This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.263 of 2022, on the files of learned S.D.J.M., Sundargarh, arising out of Dharuadihi P.S. Case No.15 of 2022, offences under Section 376(1)/506 of IPC and Section 67/67(A) of I.T. Act and is in custody since 07.04.2022.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Sundargarh, by order dated 02.05.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the charge sheet on has been filed on 14.05.2022 and the period of custody, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Additionally it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once in every week till the conclusion of trial and shall not in any way try to contact or intimidate the victim or her family. Certification relating to the petitioner's appearance shall be submitted to the Court in seisin over the matter.

It is needless to state that violation of any of the condition shall entail cancellation of the bail.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
