Heard Mr. B.K.Mohnaty, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Nayak, learned Additional Government Advocate. 2.
According to Mr. Mohanty, the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Nayapalli P.S. Case No.525 dated 9.11.2021 registered for commission of offences under Sections 420 I.P.C. He further submits that though highlighting all his grievances the petitioner has approached the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party No.1) on 31.3.2022 under Annexure-2 by filing a grievance petition and though the same has been duly acknowledged by the Office of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party No.1) however till date nothing has been in the matter. In such background he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the petition under Annexure-2 within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party No.1) to take a decision on the said grievance petition under Annexujre-2 in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
