This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode) in the 3rd National Lok Adalat. 2.
Heard Mr. P.K. Nayak, learned counsel for the Appellant and Mr. S.K. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Respondent-Insurance Company.

It is submitted by Mr. Pabitra Kumar Nayak, learned counsel for the Appellant that the claimant has been paid a sum of Rs.7,27.380/- (Seven lakhs twenty-seven thousand three hundred eighty) along with 6% interest per annum before the learned Tribunal. It is also submitted by both the parties that, the parties have settled the matter as per the joint memo filed by them, and the Insurance Company has agreed for a further consolidated amount of Rs.3,60,000/- (Three lakhs sixty thousand) to be paid to the Appellant within a period of eight weeks from today.

In such view of the matter, the compromise between the parties is allowed and the MACA is disposed of on the basis of the joint memo filed by the parties.
