This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The claim of the Petitioner-college was for grant of affiliation with the Utkal University.

This Court vide interim order dated 24th February, 2020 passed in I.A. No.3248 of 2020 in W.P.(C) No.1712 of 2020 had directed that if the proposal for grant of affiliation fulfilled the criteria, it was to be placed before the Academic Council in the ongoing meeting, if not yet over in the meantime. 4.

We have noticed that none has appeared for the Petitioner on the previous date as well as today. Similar is the position of the panel lawyer of the Utkal University. It is apparent that the Petitioner-college is not interested in pursuing the present contempt petition, perhaps due to the interim order merging into the subsequent final order passed in the main writ

// 2 // petition. It is seen from the copy of order dated 30.06.2020 as available in the web-portal that the writ petition has already been disposed of.

Accordingly, this CONTC is dismissed.
