Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

There is a serious allegation that the Revision Petition filed in 2001 has not been admitted even by the Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement, Cuttack, O.P.1.

Considering the allegation to be serious, this Court in disposal of the Writ Petition permits the Petitioners to file a Memo for immediate admission of the Revision Petition provided there is no defect involving such Revision Petition and in such event, the Commissioner is directed to undertake the exercise of admission of the matter immediately. This Court further observes, in the event there is minor defect, it should be ignored and in the event there is major defect, the Petitioners may be provided maximum seven days' time for removal of such defect and the matter should be taken up for admission if survived by undertaking the exercise within two weeks maximum.
