1. The present petitioner has enclosed a copy of the affidavit dated Order No.

2nd February, 2012 sworn to by the complainant stating that all the disputes and differences between the parties has been settled and that she does not want to proceed further with the case.

2. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Petitioner has placed before the Court a copy of the decision of the Supreme Court of India in Ramawater v. State of Madhya Pradesh AIR 2021 SC 5228 where the Supreme Court while reiterating its earlier judgment in Ram Gopal v. State of Madhya Pradesh (Criminal Appeal No.1489 of 2012) held that the High Court under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. are not precluded from quashing the case arising under the SC & ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act in order to do complete justice.

3. In that view of the matter, this Court quashes the G.R. Case No.140 of 2012 and the order dated 7th July, 2012 passed therein by the S.D.J.M., Panposh, Rourkela.

4. The CRLMC is disposed of. The interim order passed earlier stands vacated.

5. The Superintendent of the concerned Branch is directed to immediately communicate this order to the concerned Subordinate Court.
