This application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been filed by the Petitioners with a prayer to quash the F.I.R. in Banpur P.S. Case No.273 of 2012, corresponding to G.R. Case No.365 of 2012, pending in the court of J.M.F.C., Banpur in terms of the amicable compromise and settlement under Annexure-2.

Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioners. 4.
No one appears on behalf of the Opposite Party to substantiate such claim.

The present status of the investigation also not known to the learned counsel for the Petitioners.

Hence, I am not inclined to quash the F.I.R., which is of the year 2012, on the ground stated.

Accordingly, the CRLMC stands dismissed.

However, liberty is given to the Petitioners to file a joint petition along with the Opposite Party No.2 for quashment of the cognizance and proceeding against the Petitioners. (S.Pujahari) Judge DA
