Heard Mr. J.S. Maharana, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel.

According to Mr. Maharana, the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Sambalpur Sadar P.S. Case No.69 of 2022 registered for commission of offences under Sections 447/ 307/ 323/ 354/ 294/149, I.P.C. During course of hearing, he submits that though highlighting all her grievances, the petitioner has filed grievance petition dated 30.3.2022 before the Superintendent of Police, Sambalpur (opposite party no.1) under Annexure-2 Series sending it through Speed Post, however, till date no action has been taken on the same. In such background, he prays that necessary direction be given to opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the said grievance petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court

// 2 // directs the Superintendent of Police, Sambalpur (opposite party no.1) to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition dated 30.3.2022 under Annexure-2 Series in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.
