This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Mr. A.K. Nanda, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the State has produced the written instruction dated 06.07.2022 from the Additional Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack. It clearly transpires therefrom that after completion of 12 months of detention, the detenue, Sunil @ Sk. Zahir was released from the custody on 19.11.2016 as reported by the Sr. Superintendent, Circle Jail, Cuttack at Choudwar. No further detention order has been issued. There is no representation for the Petitioner. But, in view of the said development, this petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
