Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with Lakhna P.S. Case No. 22 of 2022 corresponding to C.T. Case No. 170 of 2022, pending on the file of the learned SDJM, Nuapada for commission of the alleged offence under Sections 294/307/506/34 of the I.PO.C. read with Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned A.D.J., Nuapada by order dated 02.05.2022, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account that the injured has suffered a gunshot injury, this Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application at this stage.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands rejected.
