Heard learned counsel for Petitioner and learned counsel for the State-Opposite Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "1. Direct the opposite parties to absorb the petitioner in regular establishment as Driver before his retirement i.e. 31.5.2022 as has been given to his juniors vizDillip Paikray, Bhagaban Gouda, Puspanjali Gouda, Simanchal Pattnaik, Rajendra Ku. Pattnaik, Ranjit Mishra, Pravakar Pradhan, Govinda Sethi in view of the direction of the Hon'ble High Court in terms of the scheme as well as the instructions of the Revenue Deptt. Dtd. 31.10.1998, who were in service as on 30.09.1994 taking into consideration his long 29 years of service rendered under Job contract Estt. Of Settlement organization as well as the recommendation of the Board and Settlement Officer, Balasore vide Annexure-6".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 05.04.2022 at Annexure-12 to the Writ Petition, before the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing has been done
// 2 // in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period. 5.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law and also taking into account the order passed under Annexures-6, 9 & 10 within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
