Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Bishnu Prasad Mishra (O.P.), who appears in person.

The joint affidavit filed by the petitioner and the sole opposite party stating inter alia, that the matter has been settled and settlement agreement submitted in evidence thereof is on record.

Taking note of the same and submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and opposite party Sri Mishra in person, this Court is of the considered opinion that no useful

// 2 // purpose would be served in allowing the matter to linger any further. Hence, in exercise of power under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the proceeding in 1 C.C. Case No. 4522 of 2014 pending before the learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar stands quashed. 6.

Accordingly, the CRLMP stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules.
