This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The prayer made by the defaulting borrower is for release of the mortgaged property/collateral security from the auction sale conducted on 23rd March, 2022 after receiving the auction price from the Petitioners.

After hearing counsel for the Petitioners, we find that the appropriate remedy for the Petitioners is to approach the DRT, Cuttack under Section 17 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 4.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid liberty.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
