This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with G.R. Case No.584 of 2022 arising out of Jankia P.S. Case No.130 of 2022, pending on the file of the learned S.D.J.M., Khurda for the alleged commission of offence under Sections294/323/325/307/354/506/34 of the I.P.C. 4.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s. 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned 2nd Addl. Sessions Judge, Khurda by Order dtd. 09.05.2022 in BLAPL No.161 of 2022, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account that the petitioner is in custody since 16.04.2022 and in the meanwhile investigation has progressed substantially and considering the age of the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail, on such

terms and conditions to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

The Bail Application thus stands disposed of. 7.
