Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 07.03.2022 in connection with Baripada P.S. Case No.128 of 2022 corresponding to C.T. Case No.343 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Baripada for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 380/457/413/34 of IPC. 4.
It is alleged that the petitioner along with two other persons committed theft of some household appliances from the house of the informant taking advantage of their absence in the house.

It is submitted that the petitioner was implicated on the basis of the statement of the co-accused.

Considering the submissions, materials on record and the period of detention in custody I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of posting
of the case without fail. Further he shall appear before the IIC of Baripada Town Police Station on every Monday at 10 a.m. for a period of six months and such fact shall be certified by the IIC of the concerned Court once in a month.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
