1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode. Order No.

2. The present petitioner challenges the transfer order dated 07.05.2022 issued by the Special Secretary to Government, ST & SC Development Department, Government of Odisha. The petitioner presently serving as a Headmaster, Government Girls High School, Lingagada and he has been transferred and posted at Government (SSD) High School, Timanpur in the district of Nabarangpur vide office order dated 07.05.2022.

3. Since the wife of the petitioner, who is working as lady supervisor in the Department of W & CD under Ganjam District, is a chronic patient and has two children depending upon her hence, the petitioner's transfer to far away, which is 400 k.m. away from the current place of posting creates inconvenience to him. Hence, he has filed a representation before the Director-cum-Addl. Secretary to Government, ST &

// 2 // SC Development Department, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, opposite party No.2 and the same is pending since 09.05.2022.

4. Let the opposite party No.2 decide the representation in Annexure-2 of the petitioner and pass a reasoned order within a period of one month from the date of presentation of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
