The Petitioner namely, Sri Manindra Kumar Panigrahi, Ex. Reader in Logic and Philosophy in Sailabala Women's (Autonomous) College, Cuttack had preferred WP(C) No. 19251 of 2017 before this Court, wherein he had made prayer to issue direction to the Opposite parties to count the past ad hoc service from the date of his initial ad hoc appointment towards Career Advancement and further to refix the scale of pay of the Petitioner from the date of placement as Lecturer (SS) and to give all consequential benefits including differential arrear salary as has been extended to his counter parts within a stipulated time. 3.

The said petition was disposed of vide order dated 13th September, 2017 directing the authorities to consider the case of the

// 2 // Petitioner in the light of decision of this Court in W.P.(C) No. 20648 of 2016 decided on 27th June, 2017 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy. 4.

None appears for the Petitioner at the time of call. 5.

The compliance affidavit dated 5th April, 2022 of Sri Suryanarayan Mohapatra, Deputy Secretary to Government, Department of Higher Education has been filed in Court which is taken on record, wherein the delay in compliance of the order has been regretted while asserting that the order dated 11th September, 2017 has been fully complied. The documents have been annexed showing the due compliance.

In view of the above, the contempt is dropped. 7.

Accordingly, the CONTC stands disposed of.
