1. This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode.

2. The petitioner who claims to be a farmer and is stated to have availed a loan from OSFDC Bank for purchasing a Tractor for use for agricultural purposes. By filing the present writ petition he is seeking for waiving of the loan under the Agriculture Debt Waiver and Debt Relief Scheme, 2008. Challenge has also been laid to the notice issued under the Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1962 for recovering of the outstanding amount against the aforesaid loan to the tune of Rs.3,83,631/- vide notice dated 16.02.2009. It appears that the petitioner not being eligible under the aforesaid Scheme of 2008 has been denied the benefit of waiver.

3. Nobody has come present for the petitioner. It appears that by efflux of time, the petitioner has lost interest in pursuing the writ petition.

4. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to seek its revival within eight weeks from today in case there is any subsisting cause of action.
