This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.299 of 2022, on the files of learned ADJ-cum-Special Court under POCSO Act, Angul, arising out of Chhendipada P.S. Case No.172 of 2022, under Sections 376(2n)/312/506 of IPC and Section 6 of the POCSO Act and is in custody since17.04.2022.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned A.D.J.-cum-Special Court, under POCSO Act, Angul, by order dated 10.05.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Perused the 164 Cr.P.C. statement of the victim and the charge sheet submitted on 31.05.2022. Considering the tenor of 164 statement, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin of the matter 6.
Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
