This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner.

The Petitioner has filed the present writ application with the following prayer:

" Therefore, it is prayed that the writ petition may be admitted, the records may be called for and after hearing the parties the same may be allowed;

B Y Quashing the order dated 09.08.2018 under Annexure-2; A N D To direct the Opposite Party to forthwith reinstate the Petitioner in service with all financial and service benefits; A N D Granting any other relief(s) as found fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case;

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the was working as Peon in the Urban Co-cooperative Bank Ltd., Puri. However, during his service he was placed under suspension with

// 2 // effect from 09.08.2018. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has not been reinstated in service although several years have been passed in the meantime. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the conduct of the Opposite Party-Bank is contrary to the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner the present writ application is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to the Petitioner to file a representation before the Opposite Party No.1-Bank within a period of two weeks from today along with all supporting documents and judgments he relied upon. In the event such representation is filed, the same shall be considered and disposed of within a period of six weeks by passing a speaking and reasoned order.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ application is disposed of.
