1. This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode.

2. The petitioner is the defaulting loanee and the recovery process provided under the SARFAESI Act, 2002 has been initiated by the Bank.

3. By filing the present writ petition a mandamus is sought for directing the secured creditor-Bank to settle the loan account by way of an amicable settlement.

4. At the time of hearing, Mr. S.A. Pattnaik states that he has instructions from the petitioner tendered on his mobile that he does not wish to pursue the present writ petition.

5. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.
