This matter is taken up today in the National Lok Adalat through hybrid mode.

Learned counsels for the Appellant-Insurance Company and Respondent No.1 are present. The memo in support of the compromise between the parties is kept in the record. 3.

The District Judge-cum-Judge MACT Bargarh had awarded compensation of Rs.2,72,852/- to be paid by the appellant-Insurance Company and United India Insurance Company.

4. It is now agreed between the Appellant-Insurance Company and Claimant/Respondent No.1-Mr. Lalit Kumar Mohanty that a consolidated reduced amount of Rs.1,80,000/- (Rupees one lakh eighty thousand only) shall be paid by the

// 2 // Appellant-Insurance Company to the Claimant/Respondent No.1 within a period of eight weeks.

It is therefore directed that the Appellant-Insurance company shall deposit the aforesaid consolidated agreed amount of Rs.1,80,000/- (Rupees one lakh eighty thousand only) within a period of eight weeks from today before the Tribunal. 6.

As the settlement is arrived at before the National Lok Adalat, no court fee shall be levied. On production of proof of deposit of the awarded amount, the statutory amount shall be refunded to the appellant-Insurance company along with accrued interest on proper application.

The MACA is accordingly disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
