Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. filed by the petitioner for quashing of the FIR i.e. Annexue-1 with a relief of compensation on the grounds stated therein.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in another case i.e. CRLMC No.2723 of 2015, this Court had set a target of 31st August, 2022 for completion of trial and in that light, the present petition may be disposed of which would serve the purpose. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in CRLMC Nos.2358 and 2359 of 2019, this Court while disposing the matter similarly fixed target to ensure completion of trial by the end of 31st October, 2022.

Having regard to the above submission, the Court is of the view that the petition filed by the petitioner should also be disposed with a similar direction and accordingly, it is ordered.

In the result, the CRLMC stands disposed of with a direction to the learned court below to expedite the trial and conclude it as soon as possible preferably within a period of three months and in any case, not later than 30th November, 2022.
