1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode. Order No.

2. In this writ petition, the petitioner challenges the inaction of the opposite parties in considering the candidature of the petitioner as Cook-cum-Helper in Radhakanta Upgraded High School, Saleibedpur under Kantapada Block in the district of Cuttack as per Advertisement dated 04.04.2022. Later, 2nd Advertisement was issued on 05.04.2022 for the same post for which she has applied for the same School.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that in order to appoint from own people, the opposite party No.6 has done the mischief and notified the 2nd Advertisement without cancelling the first one.

4. Since the matter pertaining to dispute of engagement of the Cook-cum-Helpers under Mid-day Meal Scheme and as per the Cook-cum-Helpers under Mid-day Meal Odisha, the appellate authority for such kind of dispute is the Block Education Officer. Any dispute regarding such appointment of Cook-cum-Helper by

// 2 // the School Management Committee, the B.E.O., will be the appellate authority.

5. In such view of the matter, the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the Block Education Officer, Kantapada by way of a representation for proper remedy and the authority shall dispose of the representation within a period of two months from the date of presentation of this order.

6. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
