Mr. Nayak, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner, who says his wife died by snakebite. His client made representation dated 4th January, 2022 to Special Relief Commissioner (opposite party no.2). He submits, there be direction upon said opposite party to consider and deal with the representation.

Ms. Pattnaik, learned advocate, Additional Government Advocate appears on behalf of State and submits, on direction made the representation will duly be considered. She points out acknowledgment of receipt does not appear in copy of the representation.

Opposite party no.2 is directed to consider and deal with said representation dated 4th January, 2022. Petitioner is directed to communicate this order and copy of the representation to said opposite party. Said opposite party will either cause payment of compensation or inform reasons to petitioner as to why the claim is rejected. Either payment of compensation or information of rejection must be given to petitioner within four weeks of communication. 4.

The writ petition is disposed of.
