This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in C.T. Case No.410 of 2022 on the files of S.D.J.M., Bhawanipatna, arising out of Lanjigarh P.S. Case No.16 of 2022, under Sections 376/506 of IPC and is in custody since 26.03.2022.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge (Vigilance), Bhawanipatna, by order dated 09.05.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Perused the 164 Cr.P.C. statement.

Taking into account the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the petitioner is in custody since 26.03.2022, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
