This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State.

The Writ Petition has been filed by the Petitioner with the following prayer:

"The petitioner therefore prays that your Lordships may graciously be pleased to:- i) Direct the Opp. Parties to grant similar benefits of pension and pensionary benefits by counting his entire past services rendered under Job contract estt. Along with regular estt. In the light of the decision of this Hon'ble Court in WPC No.14244 of 2006 which has been affirmed by the Apex Court in SLP© No.12573/2015 and T.A. No.11/1993, which has been affirmed by the Apex Court;

ii) Pass such other orders/directions as maybe deemed fit and proper in the bonafide interest of justice.

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that ventilating his grievance he has submitted a representation before the

// 2 // Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Deptt, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.1, dated 19.05.2021 under Annexure-4, which according to the Petitioner is pending before the Authority for consideration.

Considering the limited nature of grievance and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Deptt, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.1 to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 19.05.2021 (Annexure-4) taking into account Annexures-5 and 6 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law by passing a speaking and reasoned order. Decision so taken be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
