This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner.

The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "To direct the opp. parties, most particularly the Opp. Party No.3 to allow the petitioner to operate the Stone Quarry/Sairat Source, vide OMMC No.1/2014-15 in respect of Sairat of Kukudakhandi Tahasil in the District of Ganjam for the remaining 5 years from 2022-23 to 2027-28 as the petitioner has operated only for 3 years out of the 8 years of lease and extended lease conjointly in terms of the order dated 23.03.2022 passed in W.P.(C ) No.4123 of 2022, for the best interest of justice, equity and fair play And it is further prayed that as an advertisement for further lease has already been issued and finalized, this Hon'ble Court be further be pleased to direct the Opp. party No.3, that it should be given effect to only from the date of completion of the respective lease agreement periods in respect of the petitioner. And any other order/direction as would be deemed just and proper in the interest of justice."

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation vide Annexure-14 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
