This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in T.R. Case No.61 of 2022 on the files of learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Gunupur, arising out of P.R. Case No.04 of 2022-23, under Sections 20(b)(ii)B of the NDPS Act and is in custody since 25.04.2022. 4.
Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge Gunupur by order dated 05.05.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed. 5.
Taking into account the quantity of ganja seized being 7 kg and considering his period of custody, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
