This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

Heard learned counsel for both the parties and perused the records.

The Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mathili P.S. Case No.96 of 2020, corresponding to T.R. Case No.65 of 2020, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Malkangiri, for the alleged commission of offences under Sections Section 20(b)(ii)(c) of NDPS Act. 4.

Considering the nature of allegations made against the Petitioner, this Court grants liberty to the Petitioner to surrender before the learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Malkangiri, In such event, learned Special Judge shall consider the application for bail and disposed of on the same day on the basis of the materials available on record.

Case Diary be made available to the concerned court. Records be transmitted to the Higher Forum at the cost of the Petitioner, if applied for.
