This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "direct the Opp.party to drop the OR Case No.01-ph of 2022-23 arbitrarily instituted and to release the vehicle of the petitioner seized by the opp.party bearing Regd. No. OD-05-P8292/8293 in favour of the petitioner or direct the opp.party to dispose of the confiscation proceeding within a stipulated time in accordance with law".

Considering the prayer made in the Writ Petition and the fact that the confiscation proceeding has been initiated against the Petitioner since 29.01.2022 under Annexure-3, this Court directs the Opposite Party to dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order.

It is observed that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
