This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

Petitioner is a defaulting borrower of a Term Loan availed for a sum of Rs.4,84,000/- for purchase of a Tractor from Vijaya Bank, Balasore Branch, Balasore on 8th October, 2005.

2. By filing the present Writ Petition, challenge has been laid to the Demand Notice dated 25th July, 2007 recalling the outstanding liability to the tune of Rs.8,38,726/- due as on 31st December, 2014 plus interest and other expenses.

At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner has filed a Memo stating therein that the

// 2 // loan account having been closed on account of the settlement, the petitioner does not want to proceed with the writ petition and wants to withdraw the same. The Memo be kept on record.

In view of the Memo filed, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
