Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in Special G.R. Case No.39 of 2021, on the files of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Malkangiri, arising out of Mathili P.S. Case No.43 of 2021, under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C) of the NDPS Act and is in custody since 12.03.2021.

Taking into account the quantity of contraband seized and in view of the enactment of bar under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, this Court is not inclined to entertain this BLAPL application. It shall be open to t the learned court below may expedite the trial. 5.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
