This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in connection with C.T. Case No.1374 of 2021, on the files of learned S.D.J.M., Bargarh arising out of Bargarh Town P.S. Case No.586 of 2021 under Sections 307/326(A)/324 of the IPC and is in custody since 15.12.2021. 4.
Being aggrieved by the rejection of their application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Bargarh, by order dated 21.02.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner places reliance on the injury report of the injured persons which is on record and submits
that since the injuries have been categorized as simple his further continuance is unwarranted in the case at hand. 6.
Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail inter alia on the ground that the manner in which the petitioner has committed the overt act of throwing acid, he does not deserve any sympathy.

Taking note of the fact that the injuries are simple in nature and the petitioner is in custody since 15.12.2021 this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter. Additionally it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once in a week till the conclusion of trial. 8.
Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
