This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The Petitioner is an accused in connection with G.R. Case No.177 of 2022 arising out of STF (Spl. Task Force) P.S. Case No. 4 of 2022 pending on the file of learned J.M.F.C. (City), Cuttack, registered for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned 2nd Addl. Sessions Judge, Cuttack by order dated 14.03.2022, the present BLAPL has been filed. 6.

Taking into account that the Charge sheet has already been filed on 6.04.2022 and considering that the petitioner is in custody since 10.02.2022, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned court in seisin over the matter.

Additionally, it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the Local Police Station once every fifteen days till conclusion of the trial, report of such appearance shall be submitted to the learned court in seisin over the matter and one of the sureties shall be the immediate family member of the petitioner.

Violation of such stipulation shall entail cancellation of bail. 9.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
