1. 1. Heard Mr. A.K.Pattanaik, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S.N.Das, learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State-O.Ps.

2. Present petitioner who is neither accused nor victim, has come up before this Court in the guise of Public Interest Litigation for a direction for judicial enquiry against assault made on one Lokanath Dalai. It is also averred by the petitioner that said Lokanath Dalai is an accused in Nilagiri P.S. FIR No. 0146 dated 4.4.2022. As such, we do not see any locus standi in favour of the petitioner to maintain the PIL.

3. At this stage, Shri Pattanaik, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission for withdrawal of the writ petition.
