Ms. Choudhury, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and draws attention to record in orders dated 15th December, 2021 and 21st February, 2022. She reiterates, as on 21st September, 2021 opposite party bank had informed that outstanding in her client's account, classified as NPA, was Rs.2,46,901.98. Accordingly, he had tendered demand draft dated 19th February, 2022 for Rs.2,46,902/-, kept in the file.

Mr. Dhar, learned advocate appears on behalf of opposite party bank and points out scope of prayers in the writ petition. He submits, the prayers were for his client being directed not to adjust full salary of petitioner in the loan account and withdrawal of Provident Fund loan

// 2 // kept in the savings bank account. Relief against both prayers petitioner has already obtained.

In circumstances of scope prayers in the writ petition standing satisfied, petitioner is given liberty to approach opposite party bank with his contention of the outstanding amount notified as on 21st September, 2021 to be Rs.2,46,901.98. The demand draft is returned to Ms. Roy Choudhury. Opposite party bank is directed to deal with petitioner's intention to close the account in a pragmatic manner, which will meet both parties interests.
