The simple prayer made by the petitioner, a Order No.

Private Limited Company, is for directing the Branch Manager, Orissa State Financial Corporation (for short 'OSFC'), Balasore Branch, Balasore/O.P. No.3 for issuance of a No Due Certificate in view of the entire amounts due of the loan availed having been repaid. Such a direction is being sought in view of the request pending since last more than five years in spite of the Government having written to the Managing Director, OSFC to take an appropriate decision on such request as far as back on 17.10.2019 (Annexure-14).

At the time of hearing, Mr. B.K. Dash has appeared for OSFC and states that he has instructions to submit that there are certain outstanding amounts which are yet to be cleared and hence the non-issuance of the NOC.

Be that as it may, it is agreed that the M.D., OSFC shall ensure the disposal of the request of the petitioner by either issuance of the No Due Certificate or communicating the reasons along with Statement of Accounts to show the outstanding amounts to be paid before the NOC can be issued. He further states that the needful shall be done within the next five weeks but positively not later than 31.01.2023. 3.
