CORAM:

JUSTICE SASHIKANTA MISHRA ORDER_ 23.09.2022 1.

This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Order No.

02.

2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

3.

The petitioner is in custody in connection with Orkel P.S. Case No. 81 of 2022 corresponding to Spl. G.R. Case No. 66 of 2022 pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Malkangiri for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C) of NDPS Act. 4.

Considering the fact that the seized contraband is more than commercial quantity and there are prima facie materials to show that the same was recovered from his possession, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore rejected.

5.

It is open to the petitioner to renew his prayer later. 6.

The BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
