Heard Mr. Dash, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.
According to Mr. Dash, the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Baselisahi P.S. Case No.51 of 2022 registered for commission of offences under Sections 341/323/294/498-A/506/34 of I.P.C. read with Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. He further submits that though highlighting all her grievances, the petitioner has filed a grievance petition dated 21.05.2022 before the Superintendent of Police, Puri (opposite party No.2) which was sent through register post on 23.05.2022, however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the Superintendent of Police, Puri to take a decision on the grievance petition of the petitioner within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court
// 2 // directs the Superintendent of Police, Puri to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition of the petitioner under Annexure-2 series in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if in the meantime, the same has not been disposed of and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.
Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
