Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 24.04.2022 in connection with Kalimela P.S. Case No.95 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.182 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Motu for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 420 of IPC and 66 of the I.T. Act.

It is alleged that the petitioner impersonated as the head of MakeMyTrip Company and induced the informant to submit his bank details including UPI PIN etc. Subsequently, a sum of Rs.71,000/- was deducted from his account.

Considering the submissions as above, the materials on record and the period of detention in custody and the fact that charge sheet has already been submitted. I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the Court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he

shall furnish cash security Rs.71,000/- (Seventy Thousand) in the shape of short term fixed deposit in any nationalized bank. The said deposit shall be without prejudice to the rival claims of the parties.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
